Pandora II dismissed!
The case against nine anarchists arrested in October 2015 in Barcelona and Manresa has been dismissed. They were accused of criminal organization under the antiterrorism law. The magistrate of the Audiencia Nacional affirmed that the mossos d'escuadra [Catalan police force responsible for the investigation] "had limited themselves to informing about meetings, trips, and visits to penitentiary institutions" and had not showed any link with the dozens of sabotage actions the police and press had attributed to them.
There are still dozens of comrades awaiting trial or already in prison, arrested in other anti-anarchist operations like Pandora I and Piñata.
...In other news from Barcelona, there was a week of protests, riots, and sabotage actions after the eviction of the squatted bank in Gràcia, El Banc Expropiat; the comrade from Pandora II and of the CNT who was also facing trial for damages to the Corte Inglés shopping center during the 29 March 2012 general strike riots was absolved at trial; the comrade arrested in Pandora I who was rearrested accused of participating in a bank robbery in Germany is locked up in Madrid facing imminent extradition; Gabriel Pombo da Silva, anarchist comrade who has spent decades locked up, is out again...
