An invitation to the 4th Libertarian Spring Workshop from May 4th thru 11th, 2019 in La Habana, Cuba. A time and place where over the years we’ve organized as anarchists and friends that live in the city, to plan in a palpable anticipation the world we desire without officials, nor merchants, nor agents of insecurity from the State or their employees.
In order to challenge the everyday imperialism and to encourage hope in Cuba and the world. In order to clean up our interior of bureaucracy. In order to expand our intimate spaces. In order to discuss the fields of despair and isolation, fundamental ingredients in any longlasting path. In the face of such enemies it makes no sense to name, to only dispel such ideas.
A vibrant expectation is inevitable, together with a desire for experimentation between spontaneity and structure, between the individual and the collective, between words and action, thoughts and ways. This is what we call anarchy. To those who exercise it, even feeling apart of the universe of anarchist ideas.
The Libertarian Spring Workshop in La Habana is being offered as an incitement of needs, of collaborations, of practice, of libertarian struggles in related fields, in order to to break with the walls of containment that prevent us from seeing a life of irascible interconnections.
Please send your proposals for activities, topics to discuss, and possible spaces you can help out with during the conference. We’re trying to organize everything now.
