The London Anarchist Bookfair brouhaha continues.
In an editorial titled How to destroy our own movements anarchist and author of Chomsky's Politics Milan Rai uses his role as editor of Peace News to frame the widely discussed dispute at this year's London Anarchist Bookfair as a Free Speech conflict.
London's Dissident Island radio December 1st show hosted an interview with one of the London Anarchist Bookfair organisers (Tony). The recording of the programme was uploaded to archive.org on December 8, 2017.
The interviewer introduces the slot by saying: 'We're going to start off tonight with a piece that's been postponed for some time but it's a discussion well worth having.'. The slightly awkward phrasing is most likely a fumble but may indicate the interview being recorded some time prior to transmission.
Picking up on Tony's remarks most of the anarchist booksellers also table at the milquetoast London Radical Bookfair so perhaps the London Anarchist Bookfair or others could instead organise a sorely-needed anarchism conference in London, and let the London Radical Bookfair have to deal with the LARP's.
Radio interview starts 32 seconds into the show and ends at 20 mins.
